TELLURIDE INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
Telluride Rundola | 8 am | base of the Gondola in Town of Telluride
The Telluride Rundola is a foot race from the Town of Telluride to the ridge at the gondola mid-station put on by the Telluride Foundation.
Annual Historic 4th of July Parade | 11 am | Telluride Main Street
Head on over to Colorado Avenue (Main Street) at 11 am for the amazing, historic 4th of July Parade! From amazing floats to airplane fly overs, you are sure to have a blast!
4th of July at the Museum | 12:30pm-3 pm | Telluride Historical Museum
Don’t miss the spectacular Ute drummers and dancers honoring our veterans. Come and enjoy refreshing lemonade as you take-in the traditional Ute dancing! Find out more HERE.
Firemen’s 4th Barbeque | after the parade | Telluride Town Park
Looking for some good food and fun? Head on down to Telluride Town Park after the Parade to enjoy mouthwatering BBQ, cooked by the Telluride Fire Department staff! Only $12 a plate for adults, $7 for kids.
Firework Show | at dark | Town of Telluride
After a two-year hiatus (due to wildfire danger), the amazing Telluride firework display is back and there isn’t a bad seat to view it from! Head on over to Telluride Town Park for an up-close-and-personal view. Or head up Tomboy Road or the gondola mid-station for a more private viewing.
