41st Telluride Bluegrass Festival is on its Way

In less than two week 12,000 visitors, locals and musicians will flood the Town of Telluride for the biggest, oldest and most anticipated music festival in the area, Telluride Bluegrass Festival. In it’s 41st year, the festival will open it’s gates June 19-27 to world-class musicians such as Chris Thile, Tim O’Brien & Darrel Scott, Brandi Carlile, Bela Fleck and of course, the king of Telluride bluegrass himself, Sam Bush.

This year’s festival welcomes back the newly re-formed band, Nickel Creek. Band members, Chris Thile, Sara Watkins and Shaun Watkins. The bands stops in the Box Canyon as part of their reunion tour for album “A Dotted Line.”

Other highly anticipated acts include Bela Fleck as he plays with the Colorado Symphony, Andrew Bird and  The Hands of Glory, Ray LaMontagne and Leftover Salmon.
